The Story Behind As-Built Redline
As-Built Redline started the same place most construction stories do — in the middle of long days, muddy boots, marked-up drawings, schedule changes, and figuring it out as you go.
We’re Daniel and Beth. Husband and wife. Both working in construction on the same projects, for the same company, building water treatment plants together. Daniel works as a Project Superintendent in the field, managing crews, coordination, and the constant movement that keeps a project alive. Beth works as an Assistant Project Manager, handling submittals, redlines, documentation, and the behind-the-scenes details that hold everything together.
Construction isn’t just what we do for a living. It became part of our language, our routines, our marriage, and honestly — our respect for the people who build this country every day.
We started As-Built Redline because we saw a gap.
Most construction apparel either feels overly corporate or completely disconnected from real jobsite culture. We wanted something that actually felt familiar to the people in the field — the operators, supers, laborers, foremen, pipe crews, PMs, inspectors, and everyone living off coffee, deadlines, and “one quick change.”
This brand is for the people who understand:
- redlined drawings
- early concrete pours
- radios constantly going off
- weather delays
- steel toes by the front door
- and the satisfaction of watching something massive come out of the ground because your team built it
As-Built Redline is more than shirts and hoodies. It’s a respect thing. A culture thing. A way of representing the trades, the field, and the people who rarely get recognized for how much they carry.
We’re building this brand the same way projects get built:
one day, one challenge, one revision at a time.
Built Different. Built Heavy.
